Mental Health Therapist in North Little Rock
Welcome!
I’m Tiffany, an LICSW, and this is my independent pratice, Strawberry Therapy.
I help individuals with a variety of issues in their lives. I have experience from the commonplace – anxiety now affecting an incredible 40 million Americans – to the more complex, like trauma resolution, emotional reactivity, and attachment issues.
An introductory session will help us map out your concerns and goals, creating a roadmap of where we’ll go and how we’ll get there.
Primary Services
Gone are the days of endless, pointless psychoanalysis. Today, we utilize specific forms of therapy – sometimes called “modallities” – that apply to different problems, and treat them in different ways. As an evidence-based practitioner, I am trained in a variety of time tested, proven modalities, and I use them successfully with my clients every day.

Emotionally Focused Therapy
Helps individuals and couples understand and reshape emotional responses in relationships. By identifying attachment needs and communication patterns, EFT creates secure bonds and resolves conflicts.

Internal Family Systems
Explores different “parts” of your personality to heal inner conflicts and trauma. By understanding how these parts protect you, IFS helps you access your core Self and develop internal harmony and compassion.

Acceptance and Commitment
Teaches psychological flexibility by accepting difficult thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them. ACT helps you clarify personal values and take committed action toward a meaningful life despite life’s challenges.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Teaches mindfulness, mood control, and people skills to help you handle strong emotions. Desgned for borderline personality disorder, DBT can help anyone dealing with very intense feelings and relationship problems.

About Me
Serving Little Rock for over a decade.
My path to becoming a therapist began early, shaped by growing up around mental health and substance use challenges within my family. Those experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about mental health, trauma, addiction, and—let’s be honest—why being human can be so hard sometimes. I’ve always been drawn to helping people make sense of their stories (a calling so obvious that my high school newspaper editor once predicted I’d become a therapist).
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in information technology and Spanish, in 2008. Before entering graduate school, I took several years to travel, explore my interests, and fully enjoy my early adulthood. During that time, I worked in the service industry, where I learned as much about people as I did about myself—listening to countless stories, perspectives, and life experiences, one table at a time. That period ultimately clarified what I had known all along: I wanted to become a therapist.
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical settings. My early professional experience included serving as a substance abuse counselor in an outpatient program focused on opioid and heroin use at the Psychiatric Research Institute at UAMS. After becoming fully licensed, I transitioned into school-based counseling, supporting children and adolescents ages 6–18, before moving into pediatric social work at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
At Arkansas Children’s Hospital, I spent eight years working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing counseling and emotional support to parents of critically ill infants. During this time, I developed specialized expertise in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and worked closely with families navigating grief, medical trauma, complex social stressors, and both short- and long-term illness.
While my training and experience are extensive, what matters most to me is connection. My background as a college athlete, years spent in the service industry, and my own very human family dynamics have shaped how I show up as a therapist—grounded, compassionate, direct when needed, and always respectful of each person’s unique story. I work with individuals and couples and believe that meaningful change begins in a space where people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported (with room for a little humor along the way).
I welcome clients from all walks of life and would be honored to work with you. If you’re curious about starting therapy, I invite you to reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
